Volunteer & Job Opportunities

Sign up now to be a spring semester on-site volunteer with ACES! We need volunteer tutor/mentors at our Minneapolis and St. Paul sites. We ask for a time commitment of once a week for two hours, late afternoon. Contact Anna Wienke for details.

Tutor/Mentor Volunteer ACES tutor/mentor volunteers work directly within our after-school programs and with our student population. Weekly attendance at your program site during the semester is mandatory. An interest in the academic well-being of inner-city students is a must. Previous work with youth is useful. Special Event Volunteer Throughout the year, ACES participates in events, such as the Life Time Triathlon, that offer the opportunity for event-specific volunteering. For more information, please contact Anna Wienke.

Volunteer E-Mentor ACES E-Mentors are Twin Cities professionals who correspond via email with a specific ACES middle school student throughout the school year. Other time commitments include attending a school-site E-Mentoring party and hosting your e-mentee at your place of work for job shadowing.
