Leave it all on the field with the ACES Associate Board

The ACES Associate Board is dedicated group of young professionals committed to advancing ACES’s mission to reduce the academic opportunity gap and improve the likelihood of success for students in underserved communities.

As key ambassadors for the organization, members of the Associate Board broaden ACES’s base of support, lead and participate in vital initiatives, and build a bench of future leaders. 

The Associate Board meets on a quarterly basis and hosts several movement-building events per year to expand ACES’s reach and cultivate new supporters.

The Associate Board supports the ACES mission in many creative ways! See below for examples of past Associate Board events that make a difference for Minnesota students.

 

  • PAST EVENT: Tacos & Trivia for Minnesota students! Thursday, May 1st at La Doña Cervecería (241 Fremont Ave N, Minneapolis, 55405)

    Are you looking for a fun way to make connections and make a difference in your community? The ACES Associate Board has just the event for you! Join us for Tacos & Trivia – all in support of our Minnesota students!

    Here’s how it works: on Thursday, May 1st from 5-8pm, La Doña Cervecería will donate $1 to ACES for every drink sold in their Minneapolis taproom. Grab a pint and some delicious tacos, and stick around for an exciting game of pub-style trivia hosted by ACES Associate Board! We’ll have free raffles, awesome prizes, and lots of fun – all in support of ACES’s mission to eliminate education disparities and help students succeed!

  • PAST EVENT: Join the ACES Associate Board at Pints for a Purpose. Grab a delicious craft brew, watch the Minnesota Wild game, and help tackle the academic opportunity gap!

    On Thursday, November 14, Barrel Theory will donate $1 to ACES for every pint sold in their taproom. Grab your friends and stop by anytime between 4-9pm to learn more about ACES, watch the Wild game, and enter our free raffle for AWESOME prizes! Come together and raise a glass for good. Cheers!

  • PAST EVENT: Give to the Max Day
    2023

    In 2023, some of our favorite Minnesota mascots faced off in a friendly competition in support of ACES’s transformative programming for Minnesota students.

    Every November is another opportunity to step off the sidelines with our Associate Board’s Give to the Max Day Challenge to help ALL students receive an all-star education. STAY TUNED to see what plays we’re drawing up for this year!
