Program Manager
Program Managers will be responsible for supervising 3 to 6 program coordinators and providing programmatic support to ensure the successful implementation of our organization's initiatives. Effective communication skills are crucial for this role for articulating visions, strategies, and feedback to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Program Managers must also be adept at project management, ensuring that programs are implemented efficiently and align with the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for social impact, and experience in program management within the nonprofit sector.
Program Coordinator
Program Coordinators are responsible for coordinating and overseeing all ACES program operations. They ensure the effective implementation of high-quality ACES programming, including supervising up to 5 part-time Academic Coaches. ACES’s model operates in classroom settings of 10-15 students, before- or after-school for up to five days per week. Program Coordinators are ACES model experts and are expected to step into classrooms, whether teaching a class or providing instructional or behavioral support. They model the ACES culture at their site and lead daily staff meetings as they supervise and provide feedback to Academic Coaches. As supervisors, they become their Academic Coaches’ biggest advocates for growth and coach their supervisees toward ongoing programmatic and personal success.
Academic Coach
Academic Coaches are ACES’s most powerful agents of change, engaging directly with students to advance education equity and prepare young learners for success in school, career, and community. Academic Coaches use ACES’s unique, hands-on curriculum to cultivate math skill and social-emotional development for a classroom of 10-15 middle school age students. Building relationships with students and families is key to success in this role — an outstanding opportunity for rising teachers and youth workers. Benefits include professional development and leadership opportunities, participation in Minnesota sports events and games, a hiring bonus, and more! Learn about the Academic Coach Cohort Model.
