St. Paul Saints and Treasure Island announce Goin' Yard for Youth!

The game on Friday, April 15th was the coldest in St. Paul Saints franchise history — but below-freezing temperatures didn’t stop the Saints and Treasure Island Resort & Casino from announcing an incredible new initiative in support of youth development! With the “Goin' Yard for Youth” program, Treasure Island and the Saints will donate a total of $500 for every home run hit by a Saints player at CHS Field during the 2022 regular season to a local nonprofit organization in support of youth and education.

ACES is honored to be the first organization highlighted by the program — especially at a time when students need academic and social support more than ever. ACES leaders, staff, and students were proud to join Saints and Treasure Island leaders, three Saints players, Mudonna, and Toucan Harry for the announcement!

In the words of our Executive Director, Christina Saunders, “ACES is proud of and grateful for our longstanding partnership with the Saints and Treasure Island, and we’re especially honored to be the first organization supported through the Goin' Yard for Youth program. As students continue to navigate a multitude of pandemic-related challenges, they need academic and social support from programs like ACES more than ever. How we respond now will have a lasting impact – and the Saints and Treasure Island are stepping up to the plate for our Twin Cities community.”

We can’t thank the Saints and Treasure Island enough for their support.
