ACES students & supporters celebrate start of school year at First Pitch!

On Thursday, September 22nd, ACES students and families, partners and educators, supporters and friends came together at CHS Field to celebrate the beginning of the 2022-23 school year!

With sunny fall weather and the backdrop of a beautiful ballpark, guests enjoyed delicious frozen treats from Thelma’s ice cream; classic lawn games, mini golf, and inflatables; and rockin’ live music from Minnesota’s own Sam Graber and band. ACES partners at Human Powered Health and members of their professional running team hosted a unique “How High Can You Jump?” challenge, inviting guests to test out a high-tech force plate and learn about jump height physics. And members of the St. Paul Saints entertainment team, Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders, and Minnesota team mascots T.C. (Twins), PK (United FC), Nordy (Wild), Rory (Aurora), and Mudonna (St. Paul Saints) brought incredible energy and showed off some great dance moves!

It’s heartening to see this incredible team coming together and stepping up to support Minnesota students. We can’t think of a better way to kick off the school year!
