Mourning Deshaun Hill, Amir Locke, and Jahmari Rice

The ACES family stands with our Twin Cities community in this time of grief and mourning. We mourn for Deshaun Hill – a North High School student stolen in yet another act of brutal gun violence. We mourn for Amir Locke – yet another innocent Black man killed at the hands of police. We mourn for Jahmari Rice – a 15-year-old victim of yet another senseless shooting .

As an organization that serves BIPOC Twin Cities youth – young people like Deshaun, Amir, and Jahmari – we must also continue to show up and demand justice. We must continue to insist that Black Lives Matter. The work to achieve real change in our communities is on all of us.
