Rapala hosts once-in-a-lifetime ice fishing field trip, featuring Matt Dumba!
When we say “once-in-a-lifetime experiential learning opportunity”, this is what we’re talking about!
On February 17th, ACES students from Northeast College Prep bundled up for their very first ice fishing experience, made possible by our friends and partners at Rapala. At Lake Minnetonka, students learned how to use an auger, set up a “tip-up”, and caught sunnies, crappies, and even a few bass! Making the day extra special, ACES athlete ambassador and Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba stopped by for fishing and a chilly game of touch football!
We can’t thank Rapala’s Matt Jensen and his team enough for creating and sharing this incredible experience with our students. You all are all-stars!
