St. Paul Saints and Treasure Island Host ACES for an Incredi-Bowl Field Trip

Last month, our friends and partners at Treasure Island Resort & Casino and the St. Paul Saints hosted students from all nine ACES program sites for a celebratory end-of-school-year bowling field trip! ACES students were joined by Saints players for an evening of bowling, pizza, autographs, magic tricks, high fives, and more.

In the midst of all the fun, ACES staff took a moment to catch up with some of our students.

We asked Demarria, a 5th grader at Global Arts Plus, what she loves about ACES and she said, “I love the teachers, the field trips, and the math activities...” She continued with even more enthusiasm, “...anything we do at ACES! I love ACES in general! And they were very kind for bringing us bowling.”

Jordan, a 5th grader from New Millennium Academy, echoed Demarria’s enthusiasm, “The bowling we are doing today is my favorite! It’s better than any other bowling I’ve ever done!” When asked what he loves about ACES, Jordan said, “I like the time for learning and new activities. I get to make new friends and it all really helps me.”

Opportunities and memories like these are made possible thanks to the support from partners like Treasure Island and the St. Paul Saints – ACES staff and students alike are beyond grateful.
