Matt Dumba and Michael Boxall return for Give to the Max Day Challenge Rematch!

One year ago, Matt Dumba and Michael Boxall faced off in a friendly competition in support of ACES’s transformative programming for Minnesota students. This year, they’re BACK for another Give to the Max Day Challenge – and they’re bringing backup!

Step off the sidelines with Matt Dumba and Mats Zuccarello of the Minnesota Wild and Michael Boxall and Robin Lod of Minnesota United FC to help ALL students receive an all-star education. Through November 17th, 2022, join #TeamDumbarello or #TeamBoxalod by making a donation of any amount to ACES. Share your team pride, encourage your friends to get in on the action and, at the end of the giving period, we’ll announce which team ends up on top. No matter which team you join or how much you give, all donations make an important difference for Minnesota students.

Test results released this fall in the “Nation’s Report Card” reveal the staggering impact the pandemic continues to have on education. Minnesota test scores have fallen to their lowest point in 30 years and education disparities have only gotten worse – especially in math.

With a specific focus on foundational math skills and presence in Minnesota’s most historically marginalized communities, ACES is centrally positioned to meet this moment.
