Solution
If there are 26 players on the roster and the average age of the players is 24, then the sum of the players ages is 26*24 = 624.

When we add the manager to the group, the average age increases by 1. We now have 27 people with an average age of 25. The sum of players and manager ages is 27*25=675.

By adding the manager to the group, the sum of the ages has increased from 624 to 675. Thus, the managers ages is 675-624=51.
