RELEASE: 2021 ACES Impact Report
Though the 2020-21 school year brought unimaginable challenges and unanticipated changes, we never wavered in our commitment to Twin Cities students. Our students and families, volunteers, staff, leaders, and supporters stepped up to the plate – and we’re excited to share the results with you!
Introducing the newest ACES partner site: Academia Cesar Chavez
Opened in 2001 and located in Saint Paul's Eastside community, Academia Cesar Chavez is a tuition-free public charter school that is dedicated to providing dual-language education which prepares critically thinking, socially competent, values driven, and culturally aware bilingual and bi-literate learners.
Problem of the Month: October 2021
This October, our students will tackle ACES’s original “Athlete Health” curriculum unit. In addition to learning about goal setting and perseverance (two key social-emotional skills), our 6th grade students will use reasoning about multiplication and division to solve ratio and rate problems. Get a sneak peek at what they’ll be working on by trying your hand at the October Problem of the Month!
Athlete Ambassadors share back-to-school messages with ACES students
ACES students are back in the classroom and a few of our Athlete Ambassadors shared special back-to-school video messages to help them star the year strong. Check out what Minnesota United Midfielder Adrien Hunou, Minnesota Vikings Safety Cam Bynum, and Minnesota United Defender Michael Boxall had to say to our all-stars!

ACES has partnered with the Saint Paul Saints for more than a decade to tackle the academic opportunity gap and prepare Twin Cities students for success in school, career, and community. We are honored to have been selected as the Saints’ community partner for Major League Baseball’s “Homer’s That Help” Triple-A initiative.
