After a two-year hiatus, Minnesota’s business, philanthropic, and community leaders came together on May 12th for the 2022 All-Star Evening – and it was the largest most successful event in ACES history! More than 500 registered guests stepped off the sidelines to support our Twin Cities students, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Read MoreThe game on Friday, April 15th was the coldest in St. Paul Saints franchise history — but below-freezing temperatures didn’t stop the Saints and Treasure Island Resort & Casino from announcing an incredible new initiative in support of youth development! With the “Goin' Yard for Youth” program, Treasure Island and the Saints will donate a total of $500 for every home run hit by a Saints player at CHS Field during the 2022 regular season to a local nonprofit organization in support of youth and education.

This NHL season, many ACES students experienced their first hockey game thanks to hosts Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba and winger Mats Zuccarello. After completing a curriculum unit on stadium architecture, it was especially exciting to visit the Xcel Energy Center. Students had a blast cheering for the Wild and, of course, the snacks were a big hit!

At Lake Minnetonka, students learned how to use an auger, set up a “tip-up”, and caught sunnies, crappies, and even a few bass!
