ACES students and families, partners and educators, supporters and friends came together at CHS Field to celebrate the beginning of the 2022-23 school year! With sunny fall weather and the backdrop of a beautiful ballpark, guests enjoyed delicious frozen treats, classic lawn games, live music, and so much more!

Class is in session and our team and athlete partners are recording special video messages to help ACES students start the year strong! ACES’s partner schools are getting ready to welcome students back to class for the 2022-23 school year – and there’s lots to do to prepare for their return! On Friday, August 26th, more than 30 ACES volunteers spent several hours at Global Arts Plus helping get the campus is top shape for students’ return.

Class will be back in session before we know it. To kick off the school year and celebrate our students and educators, ACES’s First Pitch Back-To-School Celebration is returning to CHS Field! This celebration will be fun for the whole family with ice cream and ballpark snacks, games and inflatables, face painting, exclusive access to CHS Field, and appearances from your favorite Minnesota team mascots, live music, and more!

There is a strong and natural alignment between the ACES model and what we are striving for at Northfield Middle School.”

“ACES is thrilled to launch this exciting new partnership with Great MN Schools at a pivotal time for education,” said Christina Saunders, ACES Executive Director. “Disrupted learning caused by the pandemic continues to impact students and ACES’s math and social-emotional programming is more important than ever. Through this summer school initiative, ACES will significantly expand our reach and help hundreds of young learners in our community access the high-quality programming they deserve.”

After a two-year hiatus, Minnesota’s business, philanthropic, and community leaders came together on May 12th for the 2022 All-Star Evening – and it was the largest most successful event in ACES history! More than 500 registered guests stepped off the sidelines to support our Twin Cities students, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
